ADJUSTING CYLINDERS

 

WARNING:  Disable step by pulling 5 amp fuse before having hand and other body parts near servicing mechanism.

 

 

Adjust the hydraulic cylinders so each side of the steps extend the same amount.

 

The cylinders should be adjusted until extended step hits the internal stops at the same time the cylinder rods bottom out.

 

Rotate the rod two turns counterclockwise using allen wrench and lock nuts.

 

NOTE:  WHEN ADJUSTING CYLINDERS, IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO TURN THEM, OPEN BOTH FLIP LEVERS OF THE REMOTE STEP MANIFOLD.

 

 

ADJUST STEP “IN” LIMIT SWITCH

(Pump does not shut off after retracted)

 

WARNING:  Disable step by pulling 5 amp fuse before having hand and other body parts near servicing mechanism.

 

 

Retract steps.

 

Disable steps by removing 5 amp fuse.

 

Loosen step “in” switch jam nut.

 

Adjust switch directly over magnet.

 

Tighten jam nut.

 

Replace 5 amp fuse.

 

WARNING:  STEPS MAY MOVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER REPLACING FUSE.

 

Extend step and test again.

 

 

ADJUST STEP “OUT” LIMIT SWITCH

(Pump does not shut off after extending)

 

WARNING:  Disable step by pulling 5 amp fuse before having hand and other body parts near servicing mechanism.

 

Extend steps.

Disable steps by removing 5 amp fuse.

Loosen STEP “OUT” SWITCH jam nut.

Adjust switch directly over magnet.

 

Tighten jam nut.

 

Replace 5 amp fuse.

 

WARNING:  STEPS MAY MOVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER REPLACING FUSE.

 

Retract step and test again.
